Hannah Dominique E. John Kamen was born in England. Her most well-known role is that of Dutch on her role on the Syfy show Killjoys as well as Ornela in HBO's Game of Thrones. Other important roles include F'Nale Zaandor which she played in Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One and Ghost in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Hannah was born in Beverley, Yorkshire, England, the youngest of three children born to a Nigerian father who was a forensic psychologist as well as an Norwegian mother who was a fashion model. She studied at Hull Collegiate School after completing elementary school in Kirk Ella. She graduated in 2012 from Central School of Speech and Drama. John-Kamen began her professional career in the year 2011 when she performed her voice to the game video Dark Souls. Her next appearances were in the television show Misfits (2011, Black Mirror, 2011), Whitechapel, 2012, The Syndicate and The Hour. In 2012, John-Kamen landed the lead part in the role of Viva on Viva Forever which was a West End musical based on the hits from The Spice Girls. Written by Jennifer Saunders and produced by Judy Craymer, Viva Forever opened on December 11, 2012 at the Piccadilly Theatre to largely negative reviewers. The Daily Mirror, however was awed by John-Kamen's performance notingthat "It's unfortunate that such a skilled ensemble, particularly Hannah John-Kamen's Viva and the rest of Eternity were deflated by a predictable plot and leaden dialogue." The show closed down on June 29, 2013. 2015 saw John-Kamen be cast as a star on SyFy's Killjoys. John-Kamen was a guest star on HBO's Game of Thrones. She was featured as "Playtest" as part of an Anthology from Black Mirror. She also appeared on The Tunnel's second season. UK TV show The Tunnel and portrayed Ghost in the film Ant-Man and the Wasp.
